Peter Robinson retires from Coxswain position

Our Coxswain, Peter Robinson, retired this month on reaching the statutory maximum age for sea-going duties. Martin jones, mechanic, is now Coxswain/Mechanic. Peter retires after over 15 years at the helm. At a surprise dinner on 24th September for Peter, he was presented with a service certificate by Training Divisional Inspector Andy Hurley, together with a new tabard and helmet for Peter to use for his role on the shore crew. The pictures show Peter passing over the running of the boat to Martin Jones, and Peter receiving his certificate from Andy Hurley.
