Rhyl Inshore Lifeboat Service to Female in Water

Rhyl Inshore Lifeboat was being washed down and refuelled after an early morning service to a man stuck in mud at Rhyl Harbour, when Holyhead coastguard received a 999 call from a lady on the beach at Splash Point Rhyl, saying there was another lady face down in the water some 20 metres out. The ILB and local coastguards immediately responded and got the lady out of the water and immediately began resuscitation. This continued as the ambulance and police arrived and the lady was revived and transferred to hospital. The ILB returned to station at 0900. Brilliant team work between local coastguards and RNLI in the initial effort to begin resuscitation.
