Rhyl Lifeboat Exercise Argo

On the 30th of April, Rhyl’s All-Weather Lifeboat along other agencies including RAF Sea King 122 & the Windfarm’s Emergency Response Team, took part in 3 exercises at the Gwynt Y Mor Windfarm off the coast of Rhyl.

Rhyl Lifeboat was first tasked along with Sea King 122 to search for a “man-overboard” from a windfarm support vessel. The “casualty” was found and recovered aboard the Lifeboat.

Rhyl was then tasked to Medevac a “casualty” with chest pains, that had been rescued from a wind turbine transition piece by the Windfarm Emergency Response Team. The “casualty” was transfered aboard the Lifeboat and taken back to Rhyl.
