The crew held their annual dinner and awards presentations at the Rhyl Golf Club. There were 4 awards presented. Click on each small picture to display large photo.
- The Benjamin Jones award for the crew member who contributed the most to the station went to Chris Stockport, our Lifeboat Medical Officer and crew member.
- Crew member and Tractor Driver Derek Denton was presented with an inscribed tankard to commemorate his continuing work in giving guided tours of the station to schools and other visitors over many years.
- The RNLI’s Gold Badge for voluntary service, was presented by Training Divisional Inspector Andrew Hurley (R) to Eric Davies, BEM, JP, Chairman of the station branch
- Three crew members were presented with Chief Executive’s awards for their part in the rescuing members of the public at the Cockermouth floods in Cumbria, in 2009.(L-R) Helmsman Darrel Graham, Crewman Callum Robinson, and Mechanic/2nd Coxswain Martin Jones
